Temporary World by the Rick Ray Band on Neurosis Records Featuring the phenomenal vocal chords of Chuck Abraham, the powerful bass work of Jack Ambrose, the jazz interludes and classical reed work of Rick Schultz, the very fluid intense drumming of Sam P. J. Glorioso, the vertical hairfactor guitar and keyboard playing of Frank Pellino, formerly with the excellent progressive rock band,'I Don't Care' on Buddha Records back in the mid 70's.

Rounding out the bill is Rick Ray on guitar, keys and vocals. This being release #28 by Rick, since 1999 either solo, with Riot Act, re-releases of his earlier work with Neurotic or the present Rick Ray Band, this is by far the best release yet on Neurosis Records. The best band Rick has gathered together yet.

Live or in the studio. With writing contributions from every band member, this is the most unique recording to be released by Neurosis Records

He then formed the Rick Ray Band (version - 1) which went on until 1989. In 1990 he formed the band Riot Act which lasted until 2000.
In 2000 Rick reformed 'The Rick Ray Band' (version - 2) and has been recording and performing with them since then. They've opened for Pat Travers, The Dregs, Robin Trower, Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush, The Steve Morse Band, The Michael Schenker Group, Allan Holdsworth, Kansas, the Mark Wood Band (members of Trans Siberian Orchestra), Average White Band and others. There are quite a few available releases from this band.

Rick's interests are finding the truth in this world we call home. These days that’s not an easy thing to do.
It is out there though, but probably not where you think it is. One place to look is the AKJV with a Strong's Concordance. Although the truth is there you'll have to pray for understanding or you'll never get it. Band members are Alex Abraham - Lead Vocals. Jack Ambrose - Bass/Vocals.

Rick wanted to play guitar after seeing the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show in '64. He got his first guitar in '66 at the ripe old age of 6 going on 7. In '73 he started the band 'Neurotic' which went on until 1985.
